| Can i repair a damaged CD/DVD using the repairig softwares? will it work? | | I have many re-writable dvds and cds which I used just for a month..... But now it can be read all the time.... Sometimes data can be written into those but it cannot be read... My friends told me about the BAD CD REPAIR Software, but I haven't used it yet.... What's your opinion? will it help me...? | |

| | Did you see the McDonald's French Fries in the DVD of "Supersize Me"? | | I did. It was in the special features. The French fries remained like new even after 12 weeks. They looked a little wilted, but you couldn't tell that it had been 12 weeks. My assistant joked that they probably serve month old fries all the time. I only think she was half-kidding.I've decided to try this experiment on my own, but I'm going to wait until after my landlord comes and inspects my apartment. I also need to figure out a way to keep Richard, my cat, away from the experiment site. Last thing I want to deal with is a poor kitty going into penicillin shock because he ate a moldy French fry. I love Richard, but he's dumb enough to do this. I'll let you know the French fry result. I wonder if they have modified the recipe, so they will actually mold, since the DVD came out. Somehow, I doubt it. They are a huge corporation. | |

| | DVD creation program | | Hello All,I'm assisting my mother in putting together a simple, yet attractive, DVD of some personal home videos and I'm looking for good software to use (and since they're home videos I'm hoping for free or very cheap). By attractive I mean has a nice and easy-to-use interface, allows you to change things like the background picture, and preferably has some sort of auto-preview function. A good example would be a program like iDVD I think... being Apple it's very clean and professional looking yet the program is easy to work with. Again, I'm looking for a program that will:
1. Take various video clips/ movies in a standard format like AVI or mpeg and put them into a DVD video
2. Is free or very cheap (50 or less)
3. Preferrably has a clean interface for both creating the DVD and the final output (i.e. menu); things like modifying the background images or auto-preview are a big plus.Any suggestions?Thank you. | |
| | How to rip 4GB DVD movie into 700MB file | | I have seen many files in torrent which have only around 700MB in size and with a great audio and video quality. Some of them are HD quality. I am still amazed to see this is just in avi format with only 700MB in size. Anyone has any idea how to compress and convert the DVD video movie to 700MB avi format file without loosing its quality? If anybody knows please suggest me where i can get that software and tutorial too.

I didn't hate the movie literally I guess it's just that the buzz was so big and it's supposed to change the world etc etc. I watched it and thought to myself that I've seen this plot hundreds of times before, the blue people doesn't really make me think Cameron's a creative genius (I mean, come on. "Unobtainium"? Really?) I think he's just rich and famous from terminator and titanic so he gets the automatic buzz. Didn't fool me though, Cameron you cheeky monkey! I know what you're up to! lol he is good though. I just thought this time his name preceeded him and it worked just as planned. Which is good, glad to know someone's getting paid right? But I digress, I just had to rant so....I hated Avatar
I loved Black Dynamite!It's freakin hilarious! seriously go rent it on netflix or something you'll laugh your pants off. It's gained quite a cult following.Your thoughts? Any movies or TV series that's worthy enough to recommend? | |
