THE KITE RUNNER Commentary To Help With Your Purchase
| | | | Favourite line from a book | | Many of us read books that have certain lines that stick out. I have two that are my favourite. 'Goodbyes are necessary so that friends can meet again. And meeting again is certain for those who are friends, even if it is in their next lifetimes' - Richard Bach, Illusions'For you a thousand times over' - Khalid Hosseini, The kite runnerDo you have any favourites? | |
| | | read it,it fantastic | | I finished with this book and reallty loved it...an emotional story with mind-blowing details abt afghanistan's taliban | |
| | Favorite Books | | Hi everyone! I'm looking for some good books to read, so what is everyone here's favorite book? Mine are Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini and Bel Canto by Ann Patchett. | |
| | The Kite Runner | | The Kite Runner is, without a doubt, one of the best books ever written. It has remained on the NY Times best seller list for a while. Apparently they are making a movie out of it (though, I am not 100% certain)The Kite Runner is highly dramatic, yet so real. When you read it, you feel so connected with the story. I felt like I was in the story.I have a huge habit of giving the story away, so I will refrain from doing so and just tell you to read it (if you haven't, that is).If you have read this wonderful book, what did you think about it? Would you recommend it to anyone? What did you think of the ending?Discuss. | |
| | have you tried flying a kite??? | | am just wondering if you have tried it! i havent but i really get in awed everytime i look at one flying in the heavens! on my way home this afternoon i saw more than 15 of them being flewn in the air! they were so colorful! i just love watching at them.. how i wish i could still fly a kite! i havent tried.. i think i dont know if i can. i dont fly it when i was young because those were only played by boys!:(
oh..how i envy those who know how to fly kite? do you know how? umm.. good for you! | |
| | A kite around 30 meters. | | Just now, I played with my daughter with a kite from China. The kite is about 30 meters long, which inclueds 24 small kites, each of them is only 10 cm long. When all of it fly up, each of the small parts looks just like many notes on a music staff. This is the first time to fly such long kite for my daughter, she really enjoy it. Do you like kite? | |
