| | What manga can you highly reccomend? | | I'm an avid reader of both novels and manga, and I'm always looking for new series to try out, especially with the waves of disappointment for the past anime season. Either way, what manga are at the top of your list?I can recommend D. Gray-Man, as even though it has the standard shounen formula, it still delivers likable characters (villain or otherwise!) and an interesting plot. The end of a fake 19th century starts a movement by an enigmatic creature by the name of the Millennium Earl who seeks to destroy the world. He brings the dead back to life in metallic skeleton, but not at a price. A mourner can "bring back" their love, but at the cost of that soul's freedom and their own life. Many are unwillingly pulled into such a scenario, and these creatures, akuma, cannot be combated normally. That is why there are exorcists. The story follows Allen Walker, one exorcist with a heart of gold and a troubled past.Up to volume 4 has been serialized by ViZ Media, and it is on the 11th volume in Japan, and still runs weekly in Jump.Any suggestions are quite appreciated! If it's a more obscure series, though, a short plot summary would be appreciated. | |

Right now I have all OLIVIA (the one who sings for Reira in Nana anime) discography uploaded and two shoujo manga scanlations I strongly recommend to read: Kimi ni Todoke and akuma to Love Song. | | Odd Laws of Anime (Part 1?) | | I saw a different discussion and got inspired. Plus I need some unwind time.
Here are some odd laws of anime. I know some won't get it, but maybe you'll find something worth laughing about anyways. Some laws refer to the anime and characters, others just refer to the culture and media itself. So, without further delay...Laws made or broken by anime1. The law of loners
- A good number of times, the protagonist is a loner. Only has company by being tagged with unwillingly, or having a weird pet. Usually the loner learns they need others by the end of the anime, but a few times they don't.2. The law of teams (Sentai rule)
- Other times there is a team. With said team there is usually a headstrong leader, a jokester, a sexually questionable third, a stolid or removed fourth, sometimes a outright weird fifth3. The law of teams: Part 2 (Ranger rule, Gundam rule)
- Teams usually consist of 5 and most times have different colors denoting them or the machines they use4. The law of male leads
- Most male leads are either overgrown wusses, completely shutoff invalids or eccentric hooligans5. The law of female leads

| | Did you try one of these street fighter 4 pads? | | I have some problems to get full results with the original 360 pad for sf4 so I made some research and so these fancy sf4 pads edition.
Some of them looks really awesome and I wonder if one of you guys tried one of these and if the results are better.
