| | | | The Best Free Anti Virus I Have Found!! | | When I bought my computer about 2 years ago I bought Norton along with it. I PAID FOR IT!! I was not happy with it, and to top it off they wanted me to pay money again to keep all systems working after 6 or 12 months I dont remember which. So then I was told about Avast, I was worried that because it was 100% free it might not be all that great. But to my surprise after installing it and letting it do a complete scan of my hard drive it found tons of adware and some viruses too that Norton had never warned me about, and yes I did let Norton completly scan my computer too and I happen to let it scan my hard drive the same day avast did and Avast caught lots that Norton did not.
I love the fact that Avast constently updates your Virus Data Base. Within minutes of connecting to the internet, (even on dial up we have both dial up and cable connections in our home) I love that you actually are being informed of the update in info. The AIR RAID SIRENS I could live without the scare LOL but I do likethat they do so much to grab your attention and say hey there is something wrong!!
